The third in this utterly delightful series, it does not disappoint! One of my new favourite series - while aimed at primary students, any age can, and should, read.

Adventurous, magical and brilliantly funny are definitely the right words to describe the third instalment in Amy Sparkes’ The House at the End of Magic series!
Following Nine and her newfound misfit family as they travel to Beyond to save Professor Dish, The Bookshop at the Back of Beyond explores the importance of honesty, trust, friendship and family through humour and fantasy. Nine’s adventures with Flabberghast and the gang always keep the reader curious and wanting more. With its wonderful characters, quirky worlds and compelling storyline, I would LOVE to see Sparkes’ series turned into movies or a TV series, as I think it would translate very easily, bringing the stories to an even fuller life!
I can’t wait to see what Amy Sparkes comes up with next!

While I loved every book in this series, this one was definitely my favourite! I appricitate it so much that Nine finally let herself care for and love her friends, and was so open about it! The way she held Eric's hand throughout the book anww. Cas also grown to be one of my absolute favourites, so I'm super glad that she was added and had so much role in this book. I enjoyed every page and adored every little twist. This book is absolute perfection for me!

Nine and the rest of the gang are looking for Professor Dish. They believe that Dish is in Back of Beyond but unfortunately so is Aunt Ophidia, a horrid witch who wants Professor Dish for her own gain. The race to find the professor after Nine came to know about her aunt intensions and what she did to there mother.
The Bookshop at the Back of Beyond is a magical, adventurous, and amusing story. The characters are so much fun and I loved the unusualness of everything, especially the shopping village of Back of Beyond and One must buy something from each shop if you enter or you can’t leave rule the place. There are candle shops where the candles talk and flash on and off. There are grumpy shop keepers and books that attack you to make you buy them
This series is perfect for middle-grade readers who want to step outside the norm. It's is also a story about secrets and lies, Nine and Flabberghast and the witches holding secrets of their own, withholding information they know others would like to know and making plans that will hurt others. The book is enthralling and hard to put down. For those who like magical strange places, people, and situations, this is a book for you.
