It was a struggle, thanks to the early time jumps on the chapters....even in mid paragraph.
But I ended up loving it
Thanks to the magic, mystery and supporting characters

Entirely too many random characters introduced in the first 100 pages. Feels like it’s all over the place and 100 pages in it still feels like it hasn’t picked a solid storyline to pursue.

Wasn’t expecting to be as engaged, but I really enjoyed this re-read. Maybe because I read this right before covid happened, it feels oddly nostalgic??

5/5 stars - I was so surprised with this book, obviously Leigh is a FANTASTIC author, but Alex and her Lethe crew took me for a ride. The plot line went in a completely different direction than I expected and I loved seeing Leigh's writing on a campus setting. Alex’s story and thought process was different than every other basic female protagonist I have read in the past 3 years.
