Ok. Didn’t think I’d enjoy this book but holy crap did it take me for a loop and make me a believer in true love.

this book was not what i expected it to be. looking wt the cover of the book, you would think it would be the most darkest thing you’ll ever read, but it’s actually kinda the opposite. elec is actually such a sweet guy and i really liked him a lot ❤️❤️

Greta Hansen & Elec O’Rourke. I had eyeball read this book a few months ago. Then Penelope Ward announced the new duet recording with my favorite narrators Christian Fox and Andi Arndt, and I couldn’t be more excited! Christian and Andi embodied Elec & Greta perfectly. The angsty love came through with their every word. This is one of my favorite audiobooks ever. It sets the bar high for all other audiobooks.

the concept is actually quite great and the execution is interesting (the way the hero is an author)
BUT I flelt the story to move slowly and the chemistry lacking.

Este libro es MALO. Desde el titulo (¿Stepbrother Dearest? iugh.) hasta la trama, que tiene todo lo que me molesta: protagonistas idiotas (con mención honorifica para Elec), drama de telenovela, infidelidades, clichés hasta decir basta, y un final que deja mucho que desear. Así que no debería haberlo disfrutado peeero sí lo disfrute. Lo leí en una sola sentada porque no podía parar de pasar las paginas. Es una de esas cosas que son tan malas que son buenas.
