Not something I would have picked up on my own but read with @lovestruckthrillsbookclub. This book wasn't bad at all but I'm also not raving about it.
A dual timeline; the present and flashbacks to when Percy met Sam. This book was both slow and fast as it turtle walked us through the teenage friendship to lover to nothing and then rabbit hopped us through them overcoming the thing that kept them apart for SO many years.
The characters all made some pretty questionable choices. While I understand the coming of age aspect and learning and growing from mistakes, this twist just wasn't it for me.
I enjoyed the writing style and will definitely pick up other books from this author.

I liked the writing and flew through this book and would have loved to give it 4 oder even 5 stars. But the reason why they fell apart ruined it for me.. what I really hate in romance books is the thing about two brothers and a girl, Percy cheating on Sam with his BROTHER just because she felt needy because she got less attention from Sam because he had to study and stuff. This reminds me of a (no longer) friend of mine who cheated on her boyfriend because he was on vacation with friends and had not have time to talk to her all day. Like no and then he just forgiving her for that. No no no

Such a cute little book! I love a romance book that doesn’t overdo it with the sexy scenes and I think this book had just the right amount. They weren’t cringey either which I find a lot of spicy books to be.
Overall, I love the fact that this little book (I think it’s only like 300 pages) has managed to have a great plot and also throw in a bunch of romance. It’s a great read!

It was a nice read 3.5 ⭐️ but not as good as my favorite Love & Other Words will always be my favorite!!
The communication was a bit annoying and that was why I bumped it down a start!
