Although I liked this book, it dragged on for so long without any perceptible reason. I frequently felt like it could have been edited to about half. Then, the end was so fast and lacking in the minute details of the rest of the story... the final pages seemed tacked on from another book all-together... She lost me. I wouldn't recommend this book.

Initially I wasn't sure if I would enjoy the plot however it does become an immersive read. Marked down a star as I struggled to believe in the relationship between Gen and Carmen
