A great place to start in the Sherlock Holmes series.
Part one was fabulous and covers Holmes and Watson meeting and getting to know each other. Holmes starts investigating a murder and Watson is pulled along for the ride!
Part two of the book is a seemingly complete separate story (which threw me off for a while) but it all came together in the end!
I’ll probably keep reading the collection, I do love the prose and language. Plus I need to see more of the adventures of Holmes and Watson that has inspired so many different interpretations

What's there to say? The novel that started it all. Fun story with deduction, romance, and revenge thrown in. I found it captivating and enjoyable. Highly recommend the audiobook read by Stephen Fry.

I love the BBC show, and it was great to see the origins of the characters. I was a bit confused by the abrupt switch to the Mormon part, but I enjoyed the book overall.
