This is such a wonderfully fun read. It is so easy to get swept up in this story and each chapter leaves you wanting more. The author really takes her time to develop these characters and you feel like you really know them. I also appreciate that we get more than just a glimpse into the 'Enemies' portion of this trope. For so many books with this trope, I feel like you either don't get enough of the enemies, slow burn, or lovers but we get plenty of it all in this book!

An funny, yet extremely tender love story, which echoes the classics.

It was fun, cute, and witty. I enjoyed the flirty banter between Alex and Henry. I loved the friendship/relationship they had. Together as a pair they were adorable. However, as individuals, I did not like either. Alex is arrogant. Henry is just boring. Also, it was unnecessary for the chapters to be 20+ pages long. Definitely did not care for all the political topics brought up. With that being said, I am going to watch the movie and hope its better than the book.

this was a good reminder that nothing in magazines or what we see in the media real lol. i'm happy i read this, but other than the unique aspect of politics it just reminded me of another campy romance novel between two rich people that can do virtually whatever they want.
