I listened to the audiobook version of this story and it is fantastic. I have loved this series so much that I don't want it to end. Seeing Shay's growth from the neurotic, slightly hypocritical health freak to someone who can relax, who can enjoy the little things in life rather than freak out over hot dogs and burritos. And then we have Rowan who made me swoon the entire time. He's so sweet, so darn sexy, and so accepting of Shay just how she is. He was definitely perfect for her. The banter between them, and the funny moments with the rest of the family made me laugh. The steamy scenes were amazing and the narration by Samantha Brentmoor and Teddy Hamilton was pure perfection. These two narrators have the perfect amount of chemistry, humor and sensuality. Loved it!!

This is the third book in the MOMCOMs series. And it's still going strong. I can not wait to read the last book in the series, I will be sad that we're done reading about this crazy family.
Shayla is picking up the pieces after becoming a widow and learning to parent as a single mom. I was in awe reading about Shay's character development throughout this book. She supported her son Kai although she was sometimes apprehensive about him being more independent.
Rowan 'Slick' Parker was confident and funny, dominant and possessive. Seeing him bond with Shay's son, Kai, was heartwarming and made me smile. Let's not forget about their chemistry....

I knew I was going to love Shay’s story. She had this personality that I knew whatever guy she ended up with, was going to really make her a better person and her growth was spectacular. Shay is the widowed mother to her 8yo son. The loss of her husband has made her really overprotective and obsessive about healthy eating. Shay meets Rowan at a hockey game when she ends up as his physical therapist. The moment Rowan sees Shayla looking at him, he is done for. Rowan was a man on a mission to make Shayla his.
Rowan’s relationship with Kai might be my most favorite from the series so far. Rowan helped Kai so much and it was so sweet how he was there for him and really helped him grow. Rowan brought life back into Shay and Kai’s life and he did it so effortlessly.
Spectacular audio ! Teddy & Samantha are top tier narrators and they really took on these roles of the characters. I love that this is in duet narration and you really get to see the way the characters interact with each other.

Ehhh I knew I probably wouldn’t vibe with this story as much purely bc of Shay’s character. Understand she has anxiety but it was just too much for me. Loved Rowan but very instalovey with not much chemistry
