Rowan & Shay

Lowkey mid. The beginning was a little grody like why is he putting himself all up on her but the ending was cute

I think this was the weakest book in the series, but I still enjoyed it! Rowan was a delight.

Cute, really enjoying the Mom-com series this is apart of. Not usually an insta-love fan but the MMC was the kind of cinnamon roll we all want to devour.

After Mother Faker and Mother Maker knocked it out of the park, I had high hopes for Mother Pucker especially with the addition of hockey, but unfortunately this book felt SO forced. Shayla is anal retentive, a smoker who is also a hypochondriac (but has no issue quitting smoking cold turkey with no repercussions), and doesn't clearly communicate to literally anyone. She claims she used to be wilder and fun but has no personality whatsoever to back it up even when she meets this new person. I was hoping that Rowan would coax her personality out, but he really just coddled her neurotic personality that desperately needs therapy. Also Beckett is totally becoming a villain and it's annoying, can he just be nicer at being manipulative? Like we got to know him in Mother Faker and he was a decent guy while the second and third books make him seem like a douche. Mother Pucker fell short for me, but I still have hopes for Mother Hater and Delia.

Cute Story

I’m not going to lie, I did have to pause on this one. As much as I like the series I feel like this book dragged a little. The story moved along and there were some pretty spicy scenes, I just needed more.
