I have to say, I missed Annabeth in this book. I think her character plays off of Percy's in such a fun way, that without her I was left a little sad. That being said, with her absence we did get some good longing thoughts from Percy that made my percabeth heart so happy. We also finally learn about Percy's fatal flaw, which makes total sense to his character and how he is willing to do anything to save those he cares about.
The hunters are a cool group and I am interested to learn more about them, especially bc I don't think Bianca is actually dead. Thalia joining the hunters felt right, so I am intrigued to see where she comes into play later on.
Now that the di Angelo's are here, I feel like all of our power players are on the board. I do think that Nico's reaction to Percy telling him about Bianca was a little dramatic, but he is just a kid so I can't blame him.
I am loving the time I have spent in this universe and can't wait to continue!
