I had to finish the series.  All 3 books were great.  I couldn't skip the last book.  It was good.

This entire series was more than I had ever expected it to be. I could not put them down. This book especially, was everything a great book should be. It holds the reader tightly, making life pass in a blur between times that you can pick the book back up and get back to the story of Grace and Sam, Isabel and Cole. It will leave you guessing and creating a world fair and perfect, the way the Wolves of Mercy Falls always deserved.

This book gave me everything I wanted from a trilogy. It was exciting, emotional, suspenseful. Thanks Maggie.

I liked it, but I am glad this is the ending so that I won't be tempted to continue. Grace is wolfed out for the winter, and unlike usual Sam is awaiting her return. Most of the city believes that he had something to do with Grace's disapearance. Cole finally has a purpose, and spends most of his time experimenting with a cure. Isabel's dad is still bent on destroying the wolves, and after another death, he has the support he needs. Forever is the pretty bow to the Mercy Falls package. It wraps everything up nice and neat.

So I have finally finished the "Wolves of Mercy Falls" series. I decided to only give this 3 stars because It wasn't really awesome and it wasn't really bad, it was right in the middle for me. I think i didn't like this series as much because of Grace. She didn't do anything for me as a character, Cole & Isabel on the other hand I really liked them. The ending was ok, I would've liked a bit more closure than having everything let open. I enjoyed reading the series and look forward to reading Maggie Stiefvater's other books because I really enjoy her writing.

[Note: There are a few spoilers hidden in my random blabbing. Be sure you've read the novel already!]

I actually thought that Forever was the best novel out of the Mercy Falls trilogy. It was extremely exciting, suspenseful and had me on the edge of my seat.
The thing about this novel is that it ended too quickly. I expected at least another chapter to thoroughly explain the happy ending that was always to come. How would Sam and Grace find out about Cole? Would Isabel's and Cole's odd relationship develop into something more than just lust? Would Grace survive the supposed 'antidote' or 'cure'that would make her human forever?
There was just too much questions I had at the end. It tormented me to think that the series had ended.
And seriously, I kept on thinking about how Grace completed her summer school and got a high school graduation degree. Did summer really go that fast?
I was immensely pissed at Shelby. She was like, the problem to everything but I absolutely hated how she killed Beck. Beck!
I was also subliminally pissed at Sam and didn't realise until I finished reading. Why has he been so useless?! Isabel has been right to be a little pissed at his uselessness.
Speaking of Isabel, how was her life in California? Was it torturous to be out of the loop of the big wolf drama or was she relieved?
I still have many questions now but the novel itself was well-written and full of suspense in every chapter. I almost had a heart attack when I heard of 'Litter' [which was actually an April Fool's Day joke -3-].
My four stars is actually more of a 3.75 stars but 4 is close enough ^^
