The writing is beautiful in true Schwab fashion but the story felt juvenile, I know this YA but it reads like middle grade. Not a bad thing overall just not the right book for me. I think I'll stick to her adult books in the future.

I really liked the writing, but I felt like the story wasn't built up properly. There was a whole lot of nothing and then the climax.
