tidak menyesal mmbeli buku fisiknya:) another day another naada harus merelakan chara kesayangan saya meninggal
V.E. Schwab and their works own a piece of my heart.
For months, I’ve waited for this book, and the patience almost ate me alive, but alas it was worth it.
The first time I read their works (5 books ago), I knew V.E. Schwab will forever be on the top of my favorite authors list—and this book simply proved it to be.
The writing was impeccable, the prose was spectacular. The story woven through the words that make up Gallant will truly reel you in. And the representation within this book was done so good I just have no words but awe for Schwab.
I adore Olive Prior so much. I love her strength and her intelligence and courage. I love how honest she was with herself, how loud she was within a world that could not hear her voice. But most of all, I love how her disability didn’t hold her back to be the strongest version of herself.
This book gave me the creeps and the tears, and I simply couldn’t ask for more. It was unputdownable and I just—it belongs to my heart. Always.
I also just want to commend the illustrator who did the art within the book, and the narrator who gave voice to the characters on paper. Both of these men did wonders adding life to Schwab’s writing, and it simply made my reading (or rather, listening) experience better—tenfold!
Nothing short of 5
