This was a shitty animu rewrite, albino protagonist included.
mediocre ფანფიკის პერსონაჟებს და წერის დონეს არ ველოდი ამ მწერლისგან :/

Not as intense and suspenseful as first one, but I liked it nevertheless. Love me some philosophical take on human nature and destruction!

Doesn't quite catch the gripping atmosphere and ever present tension that the first is deliciously caked in. The philosophical underpinnings of the first book here, but so overtly discussed that their ultimate conclusions seem a little too obvious and as a result far less profound. The climax of the novel is mostly great, though it feels as though an extra chapter wouldn't go astray there. Also, I think Artyom should have either been given a bigger slice of the book, or removed entirely. His appearances felt mostly like empty fan service and the little answers we got for him were hardly satisfying. I found myself wondering about Artyom in the final pages instead of the characters who I spent the novel with, which severely weakened the final punch the story was going for.
Ultimately it's a decent book with a few flaws , unable to escape the shadow of the masterpiece that came before it.

Such a great concept and storyline. Initially upon reading this book, I didn’t think that Artyom, or any of the other characters from the first story, would even make an entrance, but they eventually did at just the right moments. This story is much more of a psychological battle for most of the characters, than a battle with environment, monsters, and the mutants of the metro. Can’t wait to read the final book!
Meh. Not nearly as good and exciting as the first book.
