This is a great middle-grade book with strong world-building. I liked the engineering theme and there were some quirky characters - like the fortune telling fish and the the diva-like stars. There are some good themes about friendship and treating people fairly.

This was such a fun and unique book! I loved Vashti’s writing and her storytelling and I absolutely adored the steampunk vibes the book had so now I have and urgent need to read her other books

I enjoyed reading this but I can't imagine in a month I'll remember what it was about.

Vashti Hardy does it again. I loved Harley and her family. She has a good heart and just wants to make everything right. I am looking forward to more adventures ahead.

This was a cute, fun read, definitely on the younger end of middle grade. Hardy's worldbuilding is so quirky and imaginative, with a magical forest that grows mechanical parts, and an adorable robot dog.

The illustrations by George Ermos are great and add so much enjoyment to the book. The front cover is great too.

Overall I enjoyed it, and while it isn't a personal favourite, I can definitely imagine a lot of kids absolutely loving it.
