This brief taste of Emilia and Mateo is so delicious you crave to know more. Emilia is in a difficult situation with her incredibly cruel stepfather but to get the freedom that she not only craves but needs she has to do a job for him. She is to get Mateo to fall for her so her stepfather can take that family down. What Emilia wasn’t expecting was her intense connection and chemistry with Mateo, but with the way this short story ends we are left on pins and needles dying to see what will happen next. Will Emilia gain her freedom or has she just destroyed her only chance to escape her stepfather? What will happen between her and Mateo? I can’t wait for this duet to come out I just know it will be so good.

These two were born to write together. They have a seamless style that flows beautifully. I enjoyed both these authors immensely and loved everything about this sneak peek—a new mafia world with spicy and steamy scenes that burn up the pages.

A pawn in daddy’s war against longtime rival Phillip Serrano, Emelia is enlisted to seduce Mateo in order to earn any semblance of freedom. Desperate to attend college out of state - and out of Roberto’s reach – she agrees to do his bidding. Unfortunately, she was ill prepared for this game of cat and mouse.

“I noticed you the moment you walked in the door, and you looked so fucking lost. I think you were looking to be found.”

Totally cheesy, but 100% accurate: Holly Renee and R. Holmes are a dynamic duo! This prequel was hot! Hot!! Hot!!! I’m already invested in what’s next!!

Heir of Sin by Holly Renee & R. Holmes is another short story in the Bully God anthology. This is super short but gets you ending up wanting more.

This book is told from Emilia's point of view. It starts off with her meeting her stepfather and he wants her to use her body to get to Mateo. Whom is the son of a cartel enemy of his. You can tell right off that Emilia's father is slimy, and will do whatever he can to get on top.

Emilia shows up to seduce Mateo, but once upon meeting him she realizes he's all dark and handsome, and she may have a harder time with this task than she thought. She thought she had him hook, line and sinker, but what happens when Mateo finds out who she really is and why she's there?

I can not wait to see what happens next with Mateo and Emilia. This book left me wanting more, and I'm ready for more!

I can't wait to read this full story! Heir of Sin is a short read that is featured in the Bully God Anthology. We meet Emilia and Mateo and their chemistry is off the charts. Emilia is just a girl wanting to go to a college of her choice, but forced to follow her step-dads rules. While we don't get a background yet on what all she's has had to endure, you can tell it's a lot. She's told to find a man and make him fall for her if she wants her to go where she chooses. Enter Mateo. This man is everything. He's exudes power and dominance. The things he says and does will leave you in a puddle. Things escalate quickly and leave you wanting so much more. I can only imagine how hot the full length novel is going to be just from this short peek into it. Trust me, Mateo, will have you drooling and begging for more.
