Master Dimitri is a new master in Master Xanthos’ community. He was a Master in Master James community. Master Dimitri enjoyes a mix of pleasure and pain but seems to prefer pleasure. Its apparent that Master Dimitri has a big problem that only a few know about. He has a beast inside his that is itching to escape.

Colt is Master Dimitri’s sub who goes almost everywhere with him to the point he will argue with other Master’s about leaving Master Dimitri alone. I admire Colt he has a goal to protect Master Dimitri the best he can.

Master Sage loves pleasure and pain. He has several submissives but only one really owns his heart, Emma. He comes across as very easy to work with. Also, he does not have a problem playing with another master.

Inner Beast is the thirty book in the Master series by Justus Roux. This book is best read if you have read the other books in the series. This book continues the soap opera feel the other books have had. This book does not have the duel story line that is present in many of the other books in the series.

I found this book well written with a unique plot. The main characters and the secondary characters were realistic and interesting. All the characters seem to pop off the page. This book is filled with twists and turns that keep the reader on their toes. The ending was perfect fit for the story. I had a hard time putting this book down. Overall, this was a very magnificent book and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
