The story was an interesting concept, and one of my first mafia reads. I walked away with many highlights and pieces that I liked, but ultimately the amount of grammar issues and spelling errors were too many for me to rate highly. At times, even the main characters names were incorrectly spelled. I think the raw material here is good, but another once over from the publishing company and re-launch would do wonders for this one.

Quick read, not my cup of tea. I enjoyed it, but was not the calibre of books I usually read. I felt there were just too many plot holes and the story felt rushed. The premise of it was great, but just needed it to be better.

Did I like the idea of the plot?… yes.
Was it executed well?… not one bit.

The story was fun and fast as any quick romance book however it was extremely hard to read. The plot was so sped through some things were randomly mentioned & at the turn of the page we moved on with no explanation or closure. There was so many inconsistencies in spellings of character names excluding the accent mark on “é” on half the times mentioned. Also in one part “you” is literally spelled “u” like someone is texting. The lack of punctuation is often confusing and quotation marks for dialog are often missing.
