I checked this out yesterday at work and read it all in one day. My only regret is I don’t have another new Sarah Pinborough book to read straight away.

I liked this read. I thought I had the story line figured out several times and I was prepared to be disappointed by a predictable plot, only to be pleasantly surprised by the opposite. I’m a fan of Pinborough’s writing style and there were sections that I’ll probably go back and annotate/highlight because they were genuinely beautiful. VERY thankful that she went with a wlw/twisted sister vibe instead of creepy estranged father luring daughter back via catfishing on facebook messenger
