I was shocked that the main character of this wasn't a Wynchester, but Sybil, a member of the Heist Club (bookclub) that hasn't been mentioned much yet, which makes me think she'll be a love interest later on...Jacob or Elizabeth? We'll see...

I received a copy via Net Galley.
This is a novella set in the WIld Wynchesters world. This one focuses more on a mystery rather than a romance. This one follows Sybil who purchases a dress from a new modiste and soon discovers that the modiste's dresses have been stolen. Sybil, with the Heist Club's help, join together to find out what happened to the dresses.
This was a fun, quick, and easy read. This was an ok read for me but it is a novella so is quite short and I didn't find the story to be particularly memorable.

Thanks to Netgalley and Webmotion for the ARC of this!
Another fun, cozyish mystery in the world of the Wynchesters. Loved seeing the Heist Club continuing to help people, while going for what they want. I’m so excited to start Nobody’s Princess to see more!

Perfectly lovely!! Sybil was such a dear, so sweet and good and clever, I wish we got to see more of her lists and more of her life, but hopefully that will come in a later book!!!

Sybil, a member a the reading group, is quite shy around members of the ton. When she runs into the woman (modiste) that makes the ladies dresses, the only reason she can make a conversation is because books are involved. When Sybli takes her back to her shop, they realize that the shop has been broken into and the dresses for the upcoming season have been stolen. At once, Sybil and the reading club jump into action to find the thief.
Opinion
If you love the Wild Wynchesters, you will love this short story. The mystery makes this a fun and captivating story. While the Wynchesters are not the main characters, they do make an appearance. Sybil, though, does not need their help. Her character has enough personality (shy, tenacious) to carry the book. The mystery itself, of who stole the dresses, is resolved with an unusual outcome.
Many thanks to Net Galley and Erica Ridley for providing me with an ARC of this book.
