A few of the stories in this anthology should not really have been classed as 'gay fiction'.
The story 'When I Was Thirteen' by Denton Welch was by far a stand-out story in the collection and I would recommend just seeking this one out and skipping this collection altogether.
It had all the creepy tension of a thriller, and had you scared about what was going to happen at the end. It did a great job at keeping the tension high throughout and with a satisfying ending.
