Another great volume in the series. The plot becomes more and more complex, but as it does, AH I WANT MORE ANSWERS. Another beautiful location added, too - I'd love to spend a few hours in the tea shop in Haven. Glad to get some answers to the curse on Maika and to the Monstrum living within her...I wonder what the next volume will hold?

Maika and Kipp have reached what they hoped was a sanctuary, but war is still following close on their heels. It doesn't look like anyone can sit out this conflict or remain unscathed.
I love this series but do wish we didn't have to wait so long between issues. I always feel like I need to start over to get up to speed again when reading the next issue. However, it is one of the most gorgeous graphic novels I have ever read. I love the artwork. I also loved that there was a bit more character development for both Maika and Zinn in this one and we see that the cats have a plan as well. I can't wait to see what happens in the next issue.
