After reading the three volumes I can definitely say that I am not loving the series. Like before the art is lovely and some of the fight scenes with the gore and face ripping and monsters were epic. And no I am not weird - you have to read this to know what I mean.
I am getting the plot more but for all the intricacies I am not sure I particularity care. None of the characters really interest me that much. They are very “cool” but there is a coldness / distance to the book which I don’t get. It may be that the art is so detailed that parts of the comic read like set pieces with exterior shots and energy beams etc.
Overall - a good time but not much more to add.

I really enjoyed exploring Pontus, and seeing Maika grow to care for characters like Kippa.

I love this series so much. The story is great and the artwork is beautiful. World building is dope and the lore is interesting. I love that the majority of the characters are female and we get an array of different personalities and emotions. I can't wait for the next installment.

I feel a bit more grounded in this world, but I know there's still a lot that goes right over my head. I'm in love with the artstyle though and I'm very curious to see what else we get to know about this god/demon creature. Also, with that cliffhanger, I NEED to continue with the next one NOW!
