Finished the third volume of Monstress tonight. I still think this is an amazing series, but I will say that the storytelling didn’t feel as solid in this installment. The story seems to have gotten so big that there aren’t enough pages in each issue to fit in everything. There are a lot more jumps in scenes that confused me (this was even before I got sick today). The supporting cast is getting more time to shine, though, which I like.

The last two volumes are arriving in the mail and I plan on rereading 1-3 because there are story threads that are getting woven together more and more and I don't want to miss a thing.

I feel like I can't give it a thorough review because I haven't completed the whole story.
The final review of the series will be found on Volume 5.

I can't wait!!!
