Best volume so far. The plot is thickening in a very good way and the characters are so well established now. The tone remains the same but with even better humor (subtle) and magnificent drawing as always.
Still enjoying the story and the art, so it’s been almost a year since I read volume two so I was a bit lost at parts.
It's been years since I've picked up a volume of Monstress and honestly this feels like the way to go. They story is just so densely packed (and chaotic at times) that having a bigger chunk to consume makes it easier to get into the flow of things. I love the way Liu holds the big answers close enough that we can allllmost see them but still absolutely out of range, it's delightful just on the edge of infuriating.

This volume was so epic with lots of action that really helped further the story. I am always so inn awe of the artwork in these books, it really transports you to this world.
I did get a bit confused at times, it is sometimes difficult to keep track of everything going on in this fantasy series, but I have found the more I read, the less confused I get.
I am so excited to pick up the fourth volume!
