With more development of characters and relationships, this series remains consistently top-notch dark fantasy.
I enjoy the world this story is set in, and the characters. The artwork is stunning BUT so intricate that it can be hard to tell what’s actually going on.
When is the next one coming?
The artwork is still wonderful, there is still a lot of questions to be answered, I still love Kippa, and if you haven't started this series I think you should. My only negative reaction is that I found the odd panel a bit confusing.

i devour comics and graphic novels, i read them so quickly but monstress is an all time favourite. the plot is sometimes a little hard to follow but the characters are so good and the art is stunning.

I was really excited to read this, I read the first 2 volumes months ago. I do wish that there was some kind of recap, there are a few different plot lines and I just didn’t remember them all. I like every character except for Maika, she annoys me and I love Kippa, she’s so freaking cute.
This series has the most beautiful artwork and grows even more gorgeous with each page.

I still have no f*cking idea what's going on but the art is exquisite.
For now, 3 stars because it was a little more confusing than the other two volumes. Very dense, and requires a re-read of the other two, as well as this one, to understand it all/appreciate it better?
