Goldener Käfig bring viel Charakterentwicklung und Intrigen mit sich. Die Geschehnisse folgen schlag auf schlag. Außerdem gibt es in diesem Band eine neue Sichtweises, was mir besonders gefallen hat, da die Geschichte so viel facettenreicher wird.

This book is a prime example of the Sexy Lamp Test. Replace the absolutely useless twig that is Mare the horse girl with a sexy lamp and the plot does not change. She does nothing for the first 75% of the book and then spends the remaining 25% recovering from the first 75%. 

The most infuriating sentences I read back to back in this book:
