Exciting and fast paced but there were a few focused plot lines that I found uninteresting.
Grover's 'Pan saga' has been boring from the start and this book made no improvement.
I liked the idea of the labyrinth and how it was used in this book. I love Tyson so much, any book with him is instantly better. Looking forward to the final instalment in this series!

This one’s my favorite in the series so far!! I feel like most of the jokes genuinely hit, the fast scenes and snappy writing worked in its favor, and nothing was too scary for me. :) Well done, Riordan! I do think they could have done a few things a little more effectively, but I was impressed with this book!

The Percy Jackson books have always been favorites of mine. I've re-read the first couple a lot but would always get distracted before finishing the series again. I can't believe I missed out on reading this as many times as I did the earlier ones. I loves the mythos surrounding the labyrinth in Greek mythology and this book is packed with action and unexpected turns as the heroes start to grow up a little.
