The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephenie Meyer

Poor Bree. She deserved so much better, she should've gone with Fred when he decided to stray from the group. The Volturi were absolute sadists and totally out of line for killing her like that - I know they had beef with the Cullens and really only allowed the existence of the newborn army in the hopes it would take the Cullen clan down, but they should've at least adhered to their own rules enough to allow them to take Bree in. Riley was downright evil for using her bond with Diego against her like that, I'm so glad he got dumped then torn to bits in the end.

A fun addition to the Twiligjt world, recommended if you liked Twilight. Meyer did a good job of keeping to the outline of the story she had already created and still made an interesting story despite the restraints.

This was far better than I had anticipated it would be, it was fascinating seeing how the newborns interacted with each other; it was also cool to see Bree's reaction to the Cullen's. However, it is such a pity Bree and Diago didn't live to run away together with Fred.

A must-read for any Twilight fan!
