I liked the idea of the reverse grumpy sunshine, but the FMC Kira came across as rude and the only flaw that Bennett has was that he was too nice and can't say no. These characters needed therapy and I didn't care for the insta lust between Kira and Bennett.

I also hated that scene in the end where Bennett was confronting his ex and was thinking between sleeping with her or booting her out. He already realized he liked/loved Kira and although she let him go, I cringed that he is already thinking about sleeping with someone else.

I know I am torturing myself with continuing this series, but I really just wanted to read Annie and Mac's story. The next book before that is a Single Dad x Nanny romance, so I hope that one is better.
