I have never read anything on this character and this was my break in story. Bloodshot seems like a pretty cool character. I am interested in reading some of his best stories after this. There was plenty of great artwork in this one.

Another great Valiant title. Sure, it's a bit cliched, being that Bloodshot's powers and origin are so similar to Wolverine and Punisher, but it manages to be gripping and entertaining nonetheless. Even if this were a Wolverine or Punisher story, it would be a very good one. But it's not, and it really does set itself apart with vastly more open-ended powers and a character that is not quite as rage-fueled. The supporting cast was also great and I hope they get developed further. Looking forward to see how this story intersects with Harbinger.

Both more and less than I expected; journeymen comics-makers taking a 90s Valiant super-person and making mindfuckery with him. The art was great and the dialogue pretty snappy; the story was a little predictable and the last page of the printing I bought detracted from my enjoyment of the thing itself as it was messed up somehow. Still, for anyone nursing a 90s comic jones, this would do nicely for a spell. A little spell.
