A great follow up to his 1st book. I still love the idea behind these books. It's heart warming and makes you start to question who your own 5 people could be. This is a short book and I read it incredibly quickly: a very easy read.

I absolutely loved this story as the follow-up to "The Five People You Meet in Heaven." It was so beautifully written and I loved the new characters and story set up. I loved the callback to Eddie's character and his story but I most definitely loved the twist at the end.
A must-read in my shelf.

I loved "The Five People You Meet In Heaven" and I was excited to read this sequel. I found it a little bit disappointing. I enjoyed that he kept the same general style and tone as the first book. It was still a good book overall, but was not as good as I was hoping it would be. My biggest problem with the book is that some of the people she meets in heaven really do seem inconsequential. In the first book, all of the people that Eddie met seemed important enough to be the people he met in heaven. With Annie, some of the people she met didn't seem as important. Even after they explained why they were the ones she was meeting, it still felt like something was missing. In addition, the love story between Annie and Paulo is not well developed at all. That makes it hard to care about them as much as I know that I should. Mitch should have spent a little more time talking about their actual romantic relationship so that the reader would feel more invested. I did find the ending to be very sweet. Overall, this was a decent follow up to the first book. I would love for Mitch to keep writing books like this.
