I feel like this book, like the first, is certainly a soothing balm for easing the effects of grief. However, it did feel a little weaker somehow, than the first. The use of metaphors and similes felt more overused than I remembered in the original, where it took me out of it.
It was a book where I never truly lost myself in the prose but enjoyed the journey and was glad to have read it.

I didn’t even know the second book existed! So happy to have found it. Once again an absolutely incredible writing style that kept me hooked throughout and such a fascinating idea of the afterlife. I am personally not Christian but the depiction of heaven was touching.
Perfect book for anyone looking for a fast paced read absolutely guaranteed to give you goosebumps

I was scared that this would suffer from the dreaded '2nd album' syndrome, it didn't.
I thought the ideas from '5 people' would be re-hashed but I was pleasantly surprised.
Reading it bought a smile to my face a tears to my eyes (the only reason I didn't openly sob was because I was sitting next to somebody on a flight.... WARNING! CARRY TISSUES!)
5 Stars

Overall, I felt like it was a good read. But honestly if you’ve read the first book, “The five people your meet in heaven” I feel like you don’t need to read this one. It was basically the same story twice/structure twice. So I would read either one or the other.
