This is my first Paige Toon book and I really enjoyed it. I actually loved how you wete flipping between the present and the past then you meet in the middle as the past is counting down to the present and then you get a full detailed epilogue which jumps to the future too and you really get proper closure, which I really enjoyed. Sometimes epilogue can be short and leave you questioning but this was perfect, even if it did break my heart in the process except it mended it too so can't rly complain.
This book touches on a rare heart condition as well as grief which is explored and how that can tie you to a person sometimes and tbh I was rooting for Liv the whole time and was so so happy to see her finally choose to move on with her life and choose her own happiness. The ending surprised me a little but not so much, it was wholesome and perfect.
It's pretty easy to say that I'll be going back to read more of Paige Toon's books and would recommend this book to anyone looking for a summer read but have tissues ready too!

LOVE! This book has everything that I’m looking for in a beach read: love, heartbreak, summer vibes and personal growth. I was instantly hooked by this book and obsessed with the characters. I enjoyed how the story was told from the past and present. This was the kind of book that makes you want to skip chapters to see what happens. I was so torn between her past relationship with Finn and her present one with Tom. It was an odd love triangle without actually being a love triangle. I loved both men and couldn’t decide which one was best for her. The ending had me SOBBING! It was a 10 out of 10 ending, no notes. This was my first Paige Toon book but certainly won’t be my last.
I really enjoyed this book. It was emotional, and I was so invested in the characters. I really wasn't sure how it would end because Liv seemed in love with both love interests equally. I think the ending was well done, but I do wish it had ended differently. It was sad and didn't really feel like a HEA that I look for in a romance. But it also said a lot about everlasting love. So I'm conflicted about the ending.
I kept wanting to pick this book up when I wasn't reading it. Definitely worth the read!

I really struggled to connect with the main character in this book! It also took me a long time to listen it, I just didn't feel called back to keep listening or to find out how it be resolved.
I loved the relationship between Liv and Michael and this is the first ever book where I have been unsure which way the love triangle would go!
However, the end of the book made me really angry and I just cannot understand or forgive why it went the way it did!
