Parts of this book will be important to me forever which feels strange because other portions of this book could have (should have?) been left out entirely. I still don’t understand what the Author’s relationship with kink has to do with anything, or why those essays were included in this collection. The writing also sometimes takes on a tone that is very reminiscent of the Buzzfeed or Tumblr posts of yore, and it reads very out of place and goofy.
Audiobook narration 5/5

I enjoyed the first half much more than the second, but stuck with it overall for their storytelling skills.

Meh. Was expecting more medical related stuff and less relationship/sexuality talk. There’s a time and a place (which I’m all for!) but this book wasn’t… upfront about that? I want medical/disability memoirs. This talked about disability so briefly despite it being in the title.
