A fun, sex-positive volume that hits the right note between entertaining and educational, showcasing a wide range of bodies and experiences along the way.

Borrowed from the Women’s Center. Loved the informational delivery of sex education. A great resource for folks seeking more sexual pleasure ok their own or with partners. Very queer and diverse perspectives included. A fun read.

I am SUCH a fan of Oh Joy Sex Toy. I've been reading the webcomic from the beginning and am pleased as punch to own a (SIGNED!!) copy of Volume One. It is informative, titalating, funny, honest, and all around just dang good stuff. Art, info, eveeeeerything about this is on point. Erika Moen is a wonderful human and her books make sex and all the bits around sex approachable. And she brought the Anal Safety Snails in to the world! For that contribution alone she is a hero...at least in my opinion.

This was very enjoyable and the art was wonderfully cute. This first volume provides a lot of basic insight in regards to sex, including safety, birth control, toys, condoms, and personal tales. Additionally, she has a series of guest comics in the end by all wonderful artists. I look forward to reading volume two.

A lighthearted and education resource that emphasizes trust, communication, and health :)

This Book helped me learn new toys while beginning at a sex store. Super inclusive, knowledgeable, and comprehensive.
funny informative lighthearted fast-paced

Honestly, I am the last person who would be interested in this topic as a grayromantic asexual. However, Erika made this fun, informative, and accessible so even though this is not my jam I was still interested in the comic and found it fun and easy to read!

So yeah, this book makes me blush big-time, and it was more awkward putting it on hold than I anticipated; but it was a fun read. Instructive, sure, but just a fun and frank discussion of all things sex. It seems like the more comfortable we can get talking about sexual topics like vibrators, which can be fun/funny, it's not a huge stretch to start a dialogue about consent, assault, or the other important topics that seem to be veiled in silence, embarrassment, and/or shame in this country. HUGE props to Moen for going out of her way to depict bodies of all kinds, too; seriously- the love she clearly feels for bodies and diversity was delightful.

This was the random third book I received at the Kickstarter level I backed for [b:Drawn to Sex Vol. 2: Our Bodies and Health|50891463|Drawn to Sex Vol. 2 Our Bodies and Health|Erika Moen|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1580651632l/50891463._SY75_.jpg|75786333], so there was a little overlap on a few strips, but otherwise this was mostly new-to-me content. A solid compilation of a year's worth of OJST strips, though I think it will be interesting to see how the sex toy reviews age over time (especially since I'm reading this one four years after the fact). The book reviews are solid though, and I definitely want to check them out (but not literally since my local library doesn't seem to have them).

I enjoyed this comic version of sex ed - great reviews of toys - loved the queer focus. Also loved that my library had this book
