Short and quick read but this book's humor and I did not connect all that much. However there were some parts that made me chuckle.

This itty bitty 99 cent Kindle book is THE perfect pick for a rear-end book club. I read it in a nano second, it made me laugh, and we’ll have plenty to talk about.
It’s also the perfect essay (blurb?)to read before you compile your NY resolutions. Especially in 2020, because we all know how this year’s resolutions went, right?

Read this just before moving into 2023 and I did enjoy it. Irby takes us though 70 ‘resolutions’ she made the previous year and then if she actually completed them. It’s personal, funny, relatable and would recommend. I liked the notion of not placing too much pressure on this ‘new year, new me’ ideology which, let’s be real, whittles away over the first 2 weeks of January for most of us. It’s good to look back at the things we wanted to achieve and it’s nice if we did but also saying I didn’t and the reason why - no matter how ‘unreasonable.’ This short little book wasn’t exactly amazing, but I would still recommend it and am interested in reading more from Samantha Irby as did like her wit and honest humour, it didn’t seem forced at all.
