An unexpectedly wholesome and cheesy series but there's beauty in that too.

Ich wusste absolut nichts über diesen Manga und allein das Cover hatte mein Interesse geweckt, als ich im Mangaladen gestöbert hab. Es war eine der besten Entdeckungen, die ich im Mangabereich gemacht habe. Durch und durch einfach großartig. Visuell sowieso ein Meisterwerk. Aber auch die Story ist sehr gut, hier und da vielleicht etwas fragwürdig, dennoch zufriedenstellend. Es hat einfach wirklich Spaß gemacht diesen Manga zu lesen und ist vorallem empfehlenswert, wenn man sich sowieso ein wenig für die Shinobi Kultur und auch die Dynastien/ Geschichte von China/Japan interessiert.

such an underrated shounen series, with an epic art style and fantastic story telling, not to mention the concept and themes surrounding the story, and intricate story line that can really captivate you!
i caught up with this series and finished it digitally (since it has not been released in my country yet), and I am surprised that it will get an anime adaptation!! (may be released in 2022, I might be wrong) I really adore this series a lot, it has beautiful covers, unique power levels and the use of "chi" or inner power in general (used in shounen series a lot, e.g. HxH, Jujutsu Kaisen) but with a different take on it, and just bizarre but interesting art (the monsters and villains, for instance).
tw : gore, blood, on screen and off screen death, very gruesome battles, adult content with incest-ish scenario (i just find this concept funny and weird so not technically a tw), etc.
