Arrivare alla fine di questa avventura dopo 13 volumi è stato emozionante e estremamente appassionante, al termine della storia posso dire che i personaggi sono ben costruiti e hanno un arco narrativo coerente con il loro carattere (che si comincia a evolvere dalla loro prima apparizione). I disegni sono veramente stupendi e la narrazione prosegue abbastanza spedita, è un manga che vale veramente la pena di leggere!

My top manga, next to Attack on Titan. The art, the plot, the characters, the history, the culture, everything was just brilliant. Literally all of the characters are so lovable, despite each being unique. Plus, so much rep - genderfluid, bisexual, (almost canon) lesbians! Love, love, love it.

Don't get me wrong I liked this manga very much BUT I think it won't be one of my favourite. I absolutely LOVED the artstyle and the characters design but I didn't get emotionally attached to any of them and that's the problem. *ehm ehm* read Jujutsu Kaisen *ehm ehm* Jokes apart: I don't reccomend this manga if you aren't interested in feudal Japan or in a very spiritual worldbuilding. :)

I'm so glad to see a happy ending. I feel that a lot of the time, gritty stories opt for tragic or bittersweet endings for the sake of being gritty, but it's so refreshing to see a happy ending. Their journey felt satisfying. The final fight was a little anticlimactic perhaps, but I think thematically it makes a lot of sense.
It was also really refreshing to see that Gabimaru and Sagiri's relationship was truly platonic. I cannot get over Sagiri's reaction to seeing Gabimaru and his wife reunite.
Part of me thought ch. 126 was the end, but I'm really glad that the author decided to include where everybody ended up. I wish we'd gotten to see Gabimaru speak in the end or see him, Sagiri and Yuzuriha talking, but regardless I loved the ending.
