Muy triste acerca de que el libro sea un standalone y no el primer libro de una saga. Literalmente deja todo abierto para que se pueda continuar y estaba convencida de que sería una saga, what a sad time to be alive.

So many characters to keep track of that it became a burden…especially when some of them weren’t very interesting. The ending was a twist though….a quick read for the new year but doubt I’ll pick up book 2.

I really liked the beginning of the book and how Ffion and Leo meet and then find themselves working together. Their reactions were great. They are working on the case of what happened to Rhys Lloyd. He was found dead on New Year's Day in a lake. Soon, the reader learns that there are plenty of suspects who would want to harm him.

This is very slow moving, too slow. I am not a big fan of revolving timelines and this book has plenty. A big cast of characters to keep track of. This book is way too long, too. Overall, wouldn't recommend.
