The writing is good and the characters are likeable. One thing that got a bit old was Lucy's determination to prove she could do things for herself without needing a man's protection or help. She would get mad if Sam made a decision without asking her and yet she didn't offer him the same courtesy. Other than that, I liked them and their marriage turned love felt real.

A wonderfully sweet book filled with mystery, love, and well placed arguments. I enjoyed every bit of it. I loved the characters and the storyline - I especially loved how I couldn’t guess the outcome of the story.
