Why can't Stephan and Brianna catch a break? Seriously, they've been through enough.
I loved this book, I just hope that they get their happy ending and everyone involved in Brianna's captivity get what they deserve.

The best book out of the series so far. With absolute trust in Stephan, Brianna is learning more about herself and what love truly is. She is growing as a character, trusting more, loving more, making friendships, and just in general trying to be a normal woman.

Truth has a lot more drama than the other two books, which made my connection with the characters a little deeper and the connection between the characters a little deeper. Brianna is making strides in the right direction when it comes to how she interacts with others and how she reacts in stressful situations. Granted there are some times where fear completely takes over but most of the time she is able to talk her panic aside with the help of Stephan. I felt as if Brianna really did grow more than she did in the last two books because she is finally learning that Stephan loves her and is willing to protect her and never harm her.

And the end…how could you leave me hanging like that Hayes? What am I supposed to do now? ☺

This was my first book in the series and I was enthralled from the first page. It didn't really dawn on me until I was halfway through that this might not be the first book in the series. So I googled and yep third book. So for that I apologize to the author. So the situation this girl is in totally caught me unaware and I'm proud to say the author did a beautiful job. The clarity of this girls situation was truly awe inspiring and the therapeutic way the author has the man handle her is new for me. Just when you think you've heard it all a book like this pops up. I would buy this series and totally recommend! Especially for those who love Aleatha Romig's Consequences series.

Despite everything, I am still loving this series. I am utterly shocked at the fact; I have no idea what it is about the books but I can't get enough of Stephan and Brianna. The ending of this book has been coming since book 1, but I still wasn't happy about it.. Moving onto book 4, and kind of sad about it.

I loved this series, I still do.. to some degree. Brianna is starting to frustrate me. I find myself enjoying her chapters less and less. The showdown with her father at the beginning was something that took the first two books to build up too. When he finally explained himself, it was told from Brianna’s point of view and it might as well have just been the “waaah wahh wahhh” from Charlie Brown. She heard and listened to nothing and instead of finding out what her dads deal was, it was three pages of staring at Stephens face.

She’s in Stephens office waiting for him to finish his meeting and she’s having a mental breakdown to the point of tears because Stephens assistant is pretty. Stephen. Who has a picture of her on his desk. Who spends every waking moment trying to make her comfortable. Who’s turned his life upside for her. She’s crying because he had a pretty employee. It’s frustrating to read.

Anywho. Now that they’re having sex, that seems to be the focus. The story and her progression to independence seem to have taken a backseat. She’s less PTSD more crybaby now. I’m hoping this ends on some type of story or plot development instead of how much she likes when Stephen rubs her clit.

For someone who was forced into the world of BDSM, she’s pretty slow on the uptake. Her confusion about Stephen having ropes in his room annoyed me, especially after him having shown her the cane. It’s like she doesn’t know how to think at all. I understand her having trouble making decisions for herself after the ordeal, but not her inability to grasp basic concepts. This is another reason I feel like I’m reading a child’s meanderings as opposed to a survivors when it comes to Brianna’s chapters.

Halfway done..

Sadly, I think I’m going to have to file this book and the rest of the series under DNF. I’m now almost finished with this story, I’m increasingly annoyed with Brianna and the lack of story/plot outside of her everlasting insecurities. I’m going to attempt another chapter. If it’s more whining.. :/

This book has me screaming how much I love it. I am very particular who knows what I am reading, now most of the novel i tell in some context (leaving out details that aren't needing to be told) but how I love this story.

Stephan and Brianna though their relationship is unconventional it has me aching at the thought of it all. I am always eager to read but I am actually having a hard time reading for too long, as I want to make it last, giving me more time with the characters.

I literally screamed to everyone I knew that the next book had more pages meaning it was longer and that I got more time with them.

Of course, I have dreams of them marrying and dreams of them having kids and they can get to a bit of normalcy (in between their sexcapades in the bedroom)

Spoiler Now how do I not do anything but give a little spoiler.
What the absolute FUCK was that ending.

This was me, this morning as I read this book, I was on the edge of my seat, and I knew that something was gonna happen because he "bought" her, I didn't expect her leaving him and that broke me, even though I knew they had too.

This book had me crying at times, especially when she told him that she loved him too. And he could finally tell her, and then they never stopped, whenever they could. Now of course the police could see their texts that spoke of their love, and that she was able to do whatever she wanted. I just hope I can handle the next book and all its glory.

So go read this book if you haven't already.
