chambers does it again. this book. fuck dude. SPOILER when sawyer dies?! holy fuck. that really fucked me up. his perspective just disappeared. kip at the funeral. an old married lesbian couple. tessa. SPOILER ENDS wow. chambers writes characters like i’ve never seen, and i don’t think i ever will again. i always find myself in slumps after reading her books, because they give you so much to think about, and because the characters are so good it’s hard to leave their stories behind. i didn’t give this one 5 stars just because it didn’t feel up to par with the other books. don’t get me wrong, it is a phenomenal book. but i didn’t cry, and it was wrapped up so nicely that i feel like i can put the book down safely. i am actually mad at myself for not giving it 5 stars. read the book
