Gripping but damn does it suffer from being one book rather than two. The B plots are so enthralling and perfectly developed however i feel that because all of the plots are crammed into one book, the story of the East is kindof left with minimal development but the West, my god the West…beautiful

Very captivating story idea, and interesting world building. However, it feels like it could have been even better if this story was split into multiple books. There are parts of the lore and world building that are too vague, and some of the story progression gets skimmed over instead of building it out
