It wasn't really scary, the author's writing kind of made me want to rip my eyes out.

I really didn't like how this was worded and I couldn't stand the grammar mistakes in it. But I enjoyed the idea/plot of the book. I felt as if I was reading through the words of a 12 year old kid who was trying to sound like a high schooler. The authors wrote as if it was a children's novel instead of a YA novel. Although it was bad throughout the whole book, I really liked the twist at the end. Blake, Louicka, Mostow, you guys messed up.....hard.

"People don't notice the secrets, but they're there. All around us. Hiding. Waiting to be found."

I know, it's silly. I should haven't liked this as much as I did but I loved it! I barely remember the movie but as I read each page, it was easy to pull the details back out. I actually enjoyed already having faces for the characters.

I enjoyed it.

This book was excellent, I finished it in 2 days. It was full of suspense and shockers. Would recommend it to anyone

Definitely not a good one.
Yup! It was my first experience reading a specifically horror story, but 1) It didn't scare me, 2) It didn't even excite me, & 3) I was bored.

I felt sorry for Ryan, & good thing he did what he did to Weaver.
But the rest?! Downright ... Wrong!

Not my cup of tea.

Without a doubt one of the most poorly written books I have ever read. The premise was good and the twist could have been brilliant if not for the terrible writing, plot, characters and editing.
