This was one of my favorites in the series. Gotta love the strong female characters!

It's been a long time since I read any of the Tess Monaghan series by Lippman, though I have been impressed by some of her standalone books more recently. I enjoyed this one, where Tess is employed by a rich Orthodox Jewish businessman to find his wife and three children, who left their ostensibly perfect life...There's plenty of action in the plot and it moves along at a nice clip.

I liked the storyline and loved the ending. Lippman's Tess books are so good. Tess is so well defined and the reader gets to know her so well....such a treat.

I accidentally downloaded the abridged version of this book, but it was so interesting that I couldn't wait to get the unabridged version before listening to the rest. I'm definitely going to get the unabridged version to listen to - and find more of this series!
