The first time I tried to read Wuthering Heights was eleven years ago when it was supposed to be my summer reading before senior year. Finally finishing it felt like such an accomplishment! I definitely think that reading it on my Kindle helped me with the footnotes. I was also able to look up definitions of old English words I didn’t know.

Seriously though, I LOVED this book. The gothic atmosphere, the outsider POV, the lack of heroes. I’ve found that I’m a sucker for stories about jerks I don’t have to root for, and this was right up my alley.

Also, Kate Bush’s first single is about this book and it’s been stuck in my head now for a week. Send help.

Infelizmente entra na minha lista dos livros que toda a gente gosta, menos eu. Tentarei reler no futuro, mas, de momento, foi um livro que me aborreceu.
