The only reason it has half a star is Pax.  It felt like nothing necessarily happened for the first 200 pages, and a lot of the actions in the book just felt wrong. 

My biggest problem with the book:

  One character outs his friend to his sister, and he doesn't apologise because he think his sister deserves to know. Its really frustrating that outing someone to a family member is treated as a good thing.
