Emmalin has lived a life no one should have ever had to endure. A life that has left her broken even if she did what she did for the man she loves. Grayson Mandrake is broken the one thing he loves more than his own life left and the kicker was he let her go, he didn't fight for her, he even lashed out in the only way he knew would destroy her.

As blow after blow continues to hit Emmalin she is not sure how much more she can take, does she even want to take them? could she just curl up and hide within the darkness and let it all go? What Grayson learns rocks his world upside down, the life he knew was a lie the life he wanted is out of reach, but is it?

Oh my Gosh!! I have been holding my breath waiting for this book. This has fast become one of THE series of 2016, for me. Words don’t cover what I am feeling right now.
Infinitely Mine kicks off with Emmalin. This is Book 3 in the Incapable series by Marie Skye. Well, I didn’t get through the first chapter before the ugly crying commenced. I seriously just hope they get their HEA.
Emmalin has left Grayson once again, and he doesn’t understand why. He blows up her phone with calls and texts, trying everything to get her to come back to him. She is a stubborn one though, and believes he will get over her and move on. She is delusional if she thinks she is doing the best for him. How very noble of her!!
“I wish I never met you.”
Grayson is so full of hurt and anger, he is being a jerk to everyone that cares for him. All he wishes is to be able to forget Emmalin, but he just cannot move on. Boy, has he tried making his way through many women, so he can forget that his heart has lost it’s beat, making him a stranger in his own skin. He does not like this out of control feeling. Not one little bit.
Once he finds out the real reason she left him, Grayson vows to end the drama that caused Emmalin to leave. He comes clean to his family, revealing Emmalin’s past, so they can understand why she ran. He does not tell them everything. But what he does tell them, angers them beyond belief. And all that anger is directed at Grayson. He promises himself that he is not stopping until he gets his woman back where she belongs. Beside him.
Emmalin has put up a good front for everyone, but she is just a shell, in reality. She goes through the motions, putting on a brave face, but behind closed doors, the facade crumbles, leaving a broken woman fast losing the will to carry on. But, as I am Team Grayson, I know he won’t quit until he has her in his arms again.
Grayson doesn’t give up, pleading his case in the most heartfelt and beautiful way. Emmalin is really wary of giving them another chance, but agrees with some stipulations. Grayson does not care, as long as she is his once more. Reunited, and it feels so good!
“I’m not worthy. I’m beneath you. I’ve betrayed you in more ways than one. I love you with all my heart and soul, and kneel not as your master, or dominate, or sir, like we’ve done in the past, but from now on, as your equal.” I took a deep breath as tears began to fall. “I’m asking you to forgive me, for everything. I’m asking for you. I need you. You are my life, Emmalin.”
Wow, I am a blubbering mess. This author just keeps breaking my heart. Emmalin thinks of herself as weak and unworthy. If only she knew how incredible and strong she really is. Then she could fly, weightless, not drop like a stone under the weight of her despair.
Emmalin opens up to Grayson about why she hasn’t moved back in with him. She didn’t want to divulge, but he went caveman on her therapist, so she felt he needed an explanation. They have their moments. Emmalin still wants to run whenever the going gets tough, and Grayson is still the dominant alpha that has to have his own way, or else. His redemption for me is the scene at the beach. Want to know what he does, people? Read the book, and you will find out. ;)
“You are my most priceless gem. You’ve given me your love. You’ve given me yourself, and that, to me, is priceless. I love you more and more every day, and I will continue to love you more every day. When I look at you Emmalin, you are what the rest of my life looks like. You are infinitely mine.”
And that brings me to the end. And my heart is broken. I am not ready to say goodbye. I loved this series so much, it is in my top 10 favourite of all time. This author has given me a feeling of completeness, satisfaction and total bliss. I will never forget reading this series. All 3 books brought something different to the table, while keeping the original connection to the characters and the storyline. Endless entertainment, excitement and never ending dramatics, featuring a sexy hot dom and a sassy, defiant wench. My enthusiasm knew no bounds with the Incapable series. It just delivered so much more than EVERYTHING.
I have read and reread my favourite series countless times. And every single time I get a new experience to take away from each story, something that I missed. The emotions that I feel is different with each story, every single time. It is like reading them for the very first time, all over again. Like Groundhog Day. Over and over, and it just gets better and better. Marie Skye and her Incapable series will give me so
many more unforgettable moments, as I will be rereading this series many times. It will be like discovering a new world. Every, single, time. They are a gift that just keeps on giving.
My time with Grayson and Emmalin may be over, but their chapter will never be closed. They will remain one of my favourite literary memories. 5 Stars are really not enough.
MArie Skye, I bow to you. I rejoiced having found, I praised you, I yelled at you for breaking my heart, I cursed at you, I disliked you, I cried because of you, I loved you. For giving me all and so much more. Thank you for these amazing characters and these unforgettable memories.
