This book is really repetitive without ever giving very much actual information. Some of the early ideas make sense, but assets and have them work for you and pay for your luxuries. Great. But I feel like I probably have too much of a conscience to get money in the ways that he does. For me the money would be nice, but I wouldn't be willing to compromise my morals to get there. The fact that he lists Donald Trump as a role model should tell you something. They have also cowritten books together.

I recommend If Books Could Kill Podcast episode of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. A reminder to myself that popularity doe not equal universal usefulness.
I can see how this excites new investors.
This book was enough to get me excited about the possibilities of using my earned income to create passive income and portfolio income but it is an idea book, not a practical guide. My concern is in the authors strong push toward the end to purchase more financial books and his own game to learn how to invest - is it really to improve your financial intelligence or to pad his pockets? I dare say a sizable about of his wealth today comes from his books rather than other investments. Taken as a book to spark excitement it could well prove valuable.

This book came highly recommended from quite a few different people. It definitely makes you rethink about the way you like at finances and investments! I don't agree with everything mentioned in the book (it feels like there is too much focus on becoming rich) but I am definitely still glad I read it.
There were many valuable lessons I realized I was handling wrong. One of the biggest things that stuck with me was that many "busy" people are just lazy and trying to put off the thing they don't want to do. This is something I know i have been guilty of. I would never call myself lazy, and many others wouldn't either. But if there is something I don't want to do, I will come up with every excuse I can to avoid it.
I recommend the book for everyone to read, even if your goal isn't to make more money. It definitely helps you to look at the money you have in a more respectful way.
